New for Fall 2017
Notetaking services have shifted to the DRC AIM Online portal. Students submit accommodation requests via the portal and will receive an email with instructions once a notetaker has been recruited for the requested course. Visit Notetaking Policies for additional information.
Students with disabilities may be accommodated with notetakers in their classes. Depending upon the student’s disability-related limitations, notetakers serve to either supplement the student’s notes or provide notes fully for the student. Usually, notetakers are students enrolled in the same classes as students whose disabilities necessitate this service. Instructors and disability coordinators will offer assistance in helping the student locate a notetaker.
Notetaker services are typically provided to students whose disabilities cause problems with manual dexterity, hearing, cognition, or attention.
