Assistant Director Margaret Collins Totty, M.Ed.
Margaret joined the staff of the Disability Resource Center in 1990 and became Assistant Director in 2000. In her role as assistant director, Margaret oversees services to students at the DRC, with an emphasis on assistive technology services. Margaret specializes in services to students with traumatic brain injuries. Active in the Association on Higher Education and Disability, Margaret presents at the local, state and national levels. Prior to joining the staff at Disability Services, she worked as State Coordinator for United Cerebral Palsy of Florida and as Advocacy Specialist with the Office of Protection and Advocacy in Nevada. Margaret's experience in the field of disability-related services and rehabilitation counseling plays an important part in her ability to effectively network with the campus and community.
