Intake Coordinator Diane Shimkets
Diane Shimkets worked as a Disability Specialist at the Disability Resource Center from 1989-1993. As a Disability Specialist, she provided academic accommodations and support services to students with disabilities and acted as a resource person to support the development and use of assistive computer technology throughout campus. She recently returned to work at the Disability Resource Center (August, 2002), and serves as the Intake Coordinator. She is responsible for coordinating the registration of all new students for the Disability Resource Center. Diane received her master's degree from the University of Georgia in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1987.
