Procedure for Requesting Housing Accommodations
- Student Responsibilities:

- Adhere to the Department of Housing's registration procedures and deadlines.
- Register with the DRC by following appropriate intake procedures.
- Discuss the requested accommodations with your disability specialist.
- Disability Resource Center Responsibilities:

- To determine if the student's request is an appropriate accommodation under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) during the interdisciplinary team meeting.
- To submit the Housing Accommodation memo to the appropriate housing administrator.
Note: Letter in support of housing accommodations from the DRC will not override the policies of any particular agency, office or department.
